2017 Labor Day Group CampThe Hoko River Mouth Retreat proves to be an amazingly beautiful end to the 2017 season!
39 campers joined us at the Hoko River Mouth Retreat for an amazing beach front camping experience. While the approach to camp was a bit complicated and Hwy 112 tested your cars breaks and your driving skills, it was well worth the trip! The Ozette Triangle, Cape Flattery, Shi Shi Beach and the Makah Museum were all within easy reach of our sandy campsite. There were paddle boats for us to explore the river and beach, along with trails to explore the tidal zones and beaches of Kydaka Point right out of the campsite. Happy hours were loaded with food and the communal kitchen proved to be a great help in preparing meals. The hot shower was also great hit! I can't think of a better way to end my 10 years on the OutVentures Board; thanks to everyone who attended and helped me celebrate. Check out the photo's on the website!
