OutVentures joins Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery for Celebrate Trails Day

Celebrate Trails Day 2024 in Seattle lived up to its reputation - wet. April is a very finicky and unpredictable month. So the spitting rain as we biked away from Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery was to be expected. Fortunately, it did not develop into soaking rain. However, by the time we reached the Burke-Gilman Trail, the rain had ceased. At the Ravenna Park Bridge, we paused for a photo. It had been an enjoyable day and we were completing our loop.

We had not been alone enjoying trails. Though it was mainly bicyclists, we were also met by runners and walkers. There were people pushing strollers and walking their dogs. Clearly, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has it right. “Celebrate Trails Day is more than a day outside.”
