Trip Report: Mercer Slough Nature Park

Great nature trails on a gorgeous day

On Sunday, eight of us explored the Mercer Slough Nature Trails, starting right from the South Bellevue Light Rail station. It was a gorgeous early spring day, with beautiful blue skies and golden sunshine all along the way, and warming up nicely as we walked. The birding was awesome, especially with the skilled identification from Doug, who kept track of sightings with the eBird app. Doug identified 18 species; his species list is below. 

This coming weekend there's another opportunity to see some birds, with a trip up to the Skagit River Valley to see (and hear) the Snow Geese. See the invite at the OutVentures website > Members Area > Events I'm Invited To.
